Carrie Tanenbaum has more than 20 years experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. She earned a degree in psychology at the University of Colorado, Boulder where she concentrated her studies on the relationship between the mind and body. Her interest in the mind’s influence on healing led her to begin meditating and studying Eastern philosophy. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Carrie traveled to Sri Lanka where she began intensive study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and treated patients with acupuncture at a local clinic. Upon returning to the U.S., Carrie earned a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Yo San University in Los Angeles, where she graduated with highest honors. In order to deepen her knowledge and experience she traveled back to Asia, this time to do advanced study in acupuncture and herbal medicine at the Luzhou Medical College and Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, in China.
